This Tuesday I begin a new five-week upper-division online class called Asia in the Age of Decolonization and Globalization, basically 20th Century China, Japan, and India for the most part. I taught this class a few months ago, so I alreday have created my lectures with imbedded links to online documents as well as a diigo site with the documents I use and other sudents may use - History 351 - Asia in the Age of Decolonization and Globalization. One thing new I did with the bookmarks is edit the tags, making them more accesible for use in more than one class list, as some of the documents in this class I also used in the World History II class.
I will continue to make short jing powerpoint lectures for each week of class, as did with the World History II class I have been teachng for the last five weeks and which ends tommorrow. This weeks material deals with the late 19th Century, setting the scene for the rest of the class.
