BTW: The QT movie was created using PowerPoint. Someone told me that the new PP now has a feature where you can convert your slides into .mov file automatically, so I tried it and works like a charm!
I actually added the music in Camtasia because I wanted to see how the two would integrate. However, when I was exporting the file, it did give the option to incorporate background music, so it is doable.
As for the narration, I haven't tried it yet, but this is what the PP help noted:
"Before you save a presentation as a movie, you can record an audio narration. For more information about narrating your slides, see Record a slide show."
LOL. I can't tell whether your non-digital life means you get plenty of sleep or that it's one big yawn! :-)
